In 2025, we're excited to host a our second annual Clatskanie Kids Market on June 20th, from 10am to 2pm, as part of our regular Clatskanie Farmers Market. It will be a day of fun, creativity, and learning, with both the Kids Market and our regular vendors all participating, creating a vibrant and bustling atmosphere for the entire community.
Our Kids Market gives kids a unique opportunity: to run their own small business! It's a chance for them to invest in an idea, get creative, and see the fruits of their labor when others purchase their handmade crafts and creations. We keep parent/guardian involvement minimal, empowering the kids to take the reins and experience the thrill of entrepreneurship firsthand.
Vending Fee is $5 per "Kid Business"
Application due May 20th

“A sincere thank you to the CFC Food Hub for playing a vital role in the Oregon State University Extension's gardening series, "Seed-to-Supper." Your generosity provided us with a meeting space in the Food Hub's Educational Area, enabling us to host the largest class in Columbia County! Participants learned the intricacies of planting, growing, and harvesting their own food, and were able to put lessons into practice with access to the CFC Community Garden across the street. This collaboration extended beyond the sharing of essential gardening skills; it cultivated a genuine sense of community. I look forward to ongoing collaboration in 2024 and am excited to participate in the wealth of other educational experiences you have planned!”
– Heather Mohan-Gibbons, MS Columbia County Master Gardener™ (Oregon State University Extension)
"The Food Hub has connected me to a new community and provided a way to maximize my farms revenue and minimize what otherwise might have been good food that goes to waste. It is super important for small farms to have a flexible market channel. The Hub has allowed me to grow my sales with minimal additional planning/planting effort in a way that I didn't expect!"
- Thousand Furrows Farm
”The CFC Food Hub provides our community with seasonal, high-quality, local food that is free from the environmental impact of long-distance transportation. The opportunity to sell our pastured eggs and fresh produce this year not only minimized the food waste on our farm but also established a direct connection between Pippinstock and our community. With the Hub's presence, we are fostering our farm's growth by adding more layer hens and the installation of a second high-tunnel to maximize produce production. The community's support has been instrumental in facilitating these expansions and we are excited about our growth. Thank you for being an invaluable part of this community!”
– Pippinstock (Farmstead)
"In partnership with the Food Hub, our farm is stronger and more equipped to head into the next few years with security and peace of mind."
– Low Tide Farms
"The Clatskanie Farmer Collective organization, which includes the Clatskanie Food Hub and the Clatskanie Farmers Market, offers many opportunities for us to market and distribute our farm goods to our local community. Both venues allow us to engage directly with our community either through in person interactions at the market or by providing fresh nutrient dense locally grown produce at a central location four days a week. The organization is passionate and well managed; with a focus on building and sustaining an eco-friendly food system. They have created a fun and inviting space for local produce and goods to be accessible to our community members. As a producer, we particularly admire their ability to be inclusive, rather than competitive, when providing an avenue for local farms and producers to connect with customers. We look forward to continuing to grow our farm business through involvement in the Clatskanie Farmers Market as well as the Food Hub."
– Corey Wahl and Susie Stopa of Hildaberry Farm & Nursery
"The food hub represents everything we're about! Decentralizing food systems, highlighting quality brands in a tasteful way, employing the local economy... I love what ya'll are doing and am so happy to be apart of it"
– Wild Rose Ghee
"The food hub has allowed me to significantly expand my sales and customer base, while allowing me to free up more time to spend on the land and with the bees. This has been instrumental in improving my mental health this year. Thank you for all your hard work."
- Happy Homestead Apiary
"The Food Hub provides a smart and genuine conduit from food producer to the public."
